The South Korean KAIST Scholarships 2023 for Spring 2023 is now open to apply for international students. The KAIST International Graduate program is a Fully Funded scholarship. This scholarship is available for master’s, M.Phil., and Ph.D. Degree. Some changes have been made in the admission process and also some new programs have been introduced for KAIST.

For spring 2023, KAIST has introduced a New Graduate Program “Global Technology Innovation Program (GTIP)” (2-year degree program) in Management (MA) and Engineering (MS).
KAIST provides almost 300 Scholarships for master’s and Ph.D. Programs. A vast range of Academic Disciplines and fields are available at KAIST with five colleges and seven schools affiliated. You can submit an English language proficiency certificate from your university in case of the absence of IELTS. All the degree Courses will be held in English at KAIST University. Types of KAIST Scholarship:
KAIST University provides 3 Types of Scholarships. It is the choice of the applicant to select any scholarship and apply for it.
KAIST International Student Scholarship (KAIST Scholarship):
This scholarship will cover the following things:
- Full Tuition Fee: (4 semesters for MS), (8 semesters for Ph.D.)
- Expenses: 350,000 KRW (for MS) and 400,000 KRW (for Ph.D.) each month.
- Medical Insurance.
- For research assistants, the extra stipend is given.

GKS Korean Government Scholarship for International applicants will cover:

- Award for Excellent Korean Language Proficiency

English Test Proficiency Exemption:
Applicants who are exempted from this test are:
- English Native speaking countries applicants from Guyana, New Zealand, United States, Ireland, United Kingdom, Australia, and Canada.
- Officially English-speaking countries (India, Pakistan, Ethiopia, Kenya, etc.). but they have to submit an English proficiency certificate.
Eligibility Criteria:
The Eligibility criteria for the KAIST scholarship are given below:
- Applicant must not have Korean nationality.
- All international students are eligible.
- For the master’s degree program, A candidate must have a bachelor’s degree.
- A candidate must have a bachelor’s degree/Master’s Degree if applying for a doctoral degree.
