Stenden University of Applied Sciences Netherlands Scholarships 2022 -

The NHL Stenden University of Applied Sciences is offering scholarships to the students being enrolled in the university. There are two different scholarships for students outside the European Union (EU) or European Economic Area (EEA) at NHL Stenden. Netherland is considered among best study abroad places.

The Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture, and Science backs the Holland Scholarship along with Dutch research universities and universities of applied sciences. It invests nearly € 5000 for the selection of global candidates from outside EU/EEA.

A merit-based scholarship, the NHL Stenden Excellency Scholarship is awarded annually to the excellent and bright NON-EU understudies. You cannot apply for it before you start your degree program. The scholarship will be granted to NHL Stenden’s NON-EU/EEA bachelor students having excellent academic records during their first and second years as students.

Eligibility Criteria:

You belong to a country, not in the EU/EEA.
You started a bachelor’s program in NHL Stenden.
You received a Letter of Acceptance from NHL Stenden.
You scored at least 6.5 in IELTS or have English as a native language.

Deadline:

You must complete your Holland Scholarship application for 2022-2023 before 1 May 2022.

After the deadline date, the selection committee will evaluate the applications. Results will be declared by the end of May.

Excellency Scholarship

Details of the NHL Stenden Excellency Scholarship 2022

A merit-based financial scholarship, the NHL Stenden Excellency Scholarship is initiated for non-EU/EEA undergraduate students with excellent academic grades. The scholarship includes €2,000 for the top 40 non-EU/EEA students at NHL Stenden by the end of the first or second year. This is based on the ECTS you have achieved at NHL Stenden in the last year. Nearly €4,000 will be presented to you over the course of your degree program at NHL Stenden if you perform outstandingly in academics.

There is no entry scholarship related to the Excellency Scholarship.

Eligibility:

Only non-EU/EEA students can apply for the NHL Stenden Excellency Scholarship starting in or after September 2020 and scoring at least 54 ECTS (study points) during the first or second year at NHL Stenden. NHL Stenden offers € 2,000 scholarships each year to the top 40 non-EU/EEA bachelor students (only year 1 and/or year 2). Excellency Scholarship is also available to the students taking a pre-bachelor language course and those who have previously received a Holland Scholarship along with the non-EU/EEA bachelor students.

NHL Stenden will contact nominated candidates individually. The scholarship amount will be presented to selected students during the first period of the succeeding academic year. The NHL Stenden Excellence Scholarship does not abandon tuition expenses.
